SHE'S DONE!!! PUUUURRRR

Finally.....the woman-human known as Mommy, is done with this friggin' birthday party stuff. Don't get me wrong. I know how important it was to her...(Oh My God, Do I Know....!!!) BUT....
Enough, already!
I mean , I'm MOLTING HERE....and she is all caught up in "silly glasses' and Chocolate Cake....Puuuullleeeezzzzeeeeee! Okay. I'm done with my Rant....

OOLTH did have a grand time and I had an okay time....I had to stay in the closet for hours and hours and hours and hours and hours....zzzzzzzzzzzz....
And that was just fine. But, the hard part was the invasion of MY KITCHEN by these stranger than strange humans....It took me days to get over them! Purrrrrrr.

Now, all is back to normal, Thank God! And I can relax and get back to my molting! Now don't get your poopies in an uproar....it looks much worse than it is...And, actually Mommy cut off a BIG piece today, and I'm almost done with this 'yearly' molting process....Whhhheeeeew!
Hey, and thanks for all your support during this very difficult time....And remember, in her defense, it ain't easy being three-quarters of a century old...so, cut her some slack. I do. Puuuurrrrrrr.

Even with your coat you look so petite.
I, on the other hand, weigh 18.5 pounds. Mom says I no longer look little even when wet. I try not to talk too loud, she will hear me and make me take a bath.
Be good.
Love,
Willow.

Molting doesn't sound so fun. I'm glad I have short fur. I hope you get over it soon!

You have such pretty eyes Sweetie and your Mom should just have you groomed and trimmed for the summer. They cut your coat really short and leave booties and tail fur long. It is cute according to my Mom. I;m not so sure ~Merlin

At first look is.. ummm funny looking..but (big but).. stinkey loves hair cuts!! he feels cool and loves for you to pet him with short hair!!

Poor Sweetie! It is so hard not being the complete center of her attention, isn't it? Maybe now that silly party is over she'll get back to the really important things of life (like you), ya' think? I wish you well with that molting thing.....LOL. I vote for the haircut too!

Now it's my turn!! :-)

Don't forget my birthday party! Starting in about an hour, bring drinks and snacks and nip (if you take it, I prefer shrimptinis myself)
Everyone is invited (although, given my age, I may retire frequently!). Paws up, charlie is in charge of the games, he says he got some ideas from recent parties.....[shakes perfect head] actually, for a snotrag he's done a good job!

Your lovely momma can come too!

Oooooooookay Sweetie! I see your mommy IS one of those crazy cat people too! I've been known to be one myself - but I gave it up for Lent... a few years ago! So, I DO completely understand HER side of all this ... and I also understand yours! And of course... we all know... she's NOT getting older... she's only getting BETTER! (our story and we're stickin' to it - right?) Back to sleep with you now -- I won't disturb you further...

This is an awesome blog -- well the other one is too -- stumbled upon this by accident -- am not a blogger yet but have high hopes -- i'm still the email type -- have six cats, three of whom would probably like to be your friend, sweetie -- too bad your mom isn't keeping this one going. if you need some tips on how to keep your human in line, please contact cheeto the orange cat -- obviously i am well trained because he can't spell but i'm doing what he says!

Happy Birthday! If you would like some more toys or a chance to win them- check out the Blogger's contest on www.felinexpress.com

Tell your mom and dad to be careful about your pretty white ears. If you are getting into direct sun- be sure you have sunblock on those beauties! I know my white girl Twirl sure does miss her ear flaps because her previous owner had no knowledge of white kitties being prone to skin cancer.

Hey Sweety!
It's a done deal!Signed, sealed and delivered! I was going to deliver it myself, but then I heard about the COYOTES! in your 'hood! Now, I'm not a coward or anything-one smack, pow! right in the kisser, and yapping poodles and goofy retrievers put their tail between their legs and split--but discretion is the better part of valor with COYOTES! So, I conned a Big One into acting as a courier.

In addition to being a computer whiz, Echo is a poet. He wrote a drippy note and signed your name. But Big Ones of the female persuasion go for that. Just remember, it took MY street--make that alley- smarts to pull this off. He got us onto the web, found the CATalog and helped pick out the purrfect Valentine for your Big One, but I had memorized my Big One's charge card number and pin.Without that, we would have been sol. By the way, this one's on me. My Big One never looks at her statements, and if she did, she would think that (lol) silly maid ordered something for her stupid boyfriend who comes by in the afternoon and throws meeoout right in the middle of a nice nap. I hate him.
Let us know if your one and only likes it. We're glad to be of service, glad to help. And remember, if you get down our way, it would be a pleasure to show you around the most interesting alleys in West Hollywood.

What a wonderful looking cat. And standing still for a pic. Mine never do that. I have to catch them on the fly. I could take a pic of them asleep, but then you miss those eyes.
I know about the cat frizz. I live with a dust mop in my hand. But it is worth it to have my 3 Kit Kats.

Hello Sweetie, we are so sorry to hear how uncomfortable molting can be. We are all shorthair cats so we just shed a bit of fur around the house when we feel like it - or when we have playfights.
Lots of puuuuuurrrrrrrs from Toby, Mustard, Pepper, Holly, Parsley, Chloe and Willow.
