HUNTING!

Today, my Mommy was doing something in the big room with all the books. And she opened up a cabinet to get into a drawer in there to look at some paper thingys...Lots and lots and lots of paper thingys...I really tried to get into this cabinet but the door wasn't open enough...

See?

I just knew this was a good place to go invesigating stuffs....maybe even find some creature people.....or....

A new hiding place...Puuuurrrrr.




So, while Mommy was doing those things she does with them papers, I got the door open....and see, I've never tried to get up in there before, but something looked really really really REALLY interesting to me up in there...

I'm not exactly sure what Mommy was doing, except she kept playing with that pile of papers with these pretty pictures on them and they had been in that drawer that is open...can you see that in the picture? (I had tried to get into that drawer but couldn't and Mommy didn't have her camera then or you would see that picture, too.....Puuurrrr.)

She was looking at each one of these pieces of paper real hard...humans do such funny things, don't they? Maybe these is her toysee's....do you suppose?

Anyway, I just couldn't get into that space up in there no matter how hard I tried! I found it very frustrating...so I tried even harder and then this bad thing happened....I heard a noise that scared me and I got down from that place real quick like, you know?

And guess what?

You'll never guess what happened! Never.

So, I'll tell you.




I knocked something over!

Puuuurrrrr.

It made a big noise but it wasn't very big.

It was three small things.

One is right there almost under my paw.

The other two are hidden by my body...

Those big things weren't them

Those big things were sitting there on the floor when I got there. I swear they were.

I swear I didn't knock thems over....I didn't, really....I could have, I guess......Puuurrr.....(What a great adventure this was...)

I still wish I could have gotten up there in that place where I was trying so hard to get to....Grrrrr.

MY EASTER GIFTS FROM MY SECRET PAWS!

Rabbie Burns Shumacher from Hawaii was my Secret Paws giver, and what wonderful thingys he done give me...there were seven things in the postal bag....plus that beautiful Easter Egg that six of the stuffs came in...Mommy will probably pack away the toys for safe keeping once I'm finished playing with them...but, not yet...Right now they are all over the house so everywhere I go I have NEW toys to play with....Puuuurrrrr. Rabbie knows good toys and good packages, too...there was a BIG Paw Print Sticker on the outside of the post bag....





There is a long wand with a pretty poofy thing on the end...I love to watch that with my eyes and then pounce! Sometimes I just bat the poofy thing with my paw, it all depends how the spirit moves me, you know?


There are two Mousy's...one green my Mommy says and one blue, (the blue one is in the picture with the poofy thing...I was stalking them both at this point, trying to decide which one I wanted to attack...of course, I love Mousey's, you know...don't you love them too?...Puuuurrrrr

Then there are two little light weight balls with some kind of sparkly stuff coming out on them....Mommy couldn't seem to get a good picture of thems....you can sort of see them in that first photo...well, no you can't...(Mommy said the computer guy deleted some good pictures by mistake when he was tring to help her with her camera. Some help.)


And then, my two favorite, (well, right this minute, anyway...) are these two jack type thingys...I played really hard with thems and even carried one (the green one M. said...) in my mouth to my Mommy so she would throw it for me...She did. She is smart. I didn't have to meow at her too long before she got it, you know? Why don't humans play with stuff like this? Why do they play with these big things that flicker like a television? They just sit there and stare and move their fingers funny...Is this playing? Gee, I don't think so. Well, not to me it's not. Carrying this little jack in my mouth and attacking it and batting it around...now that is what I call playing, you know?



Well....I wored-ed myself out so I'm going to settle down for a bit and maybe take a little nap, you know?

Nothing like the gift of giving to make you happy, I say....

I love sitting on the top of one of my condo's....yeah...I'm a lucky lucky boy...I have three condo's ALL my own that ny Mommy can't get into...Purrrrrr.


And,

Besides them wonderful condo's I got me a lot of great places to sit around and be content on that my Mommy can use too...if I let her....Purrrrrrrr.

Ain't life grand?

And what do you suppose Momma does with this, anyway....she put it on my body and I didn't understand what I was supposed to do....(Purrrrrrrr)....so, I didn't do anything but be bored with the whole thing...boring boring b-o-r-i-n-g.....!

You know?



So, with nothing better to do, and no real toy to play with or anything else that seems interesting to me....since Momma got bored with me being boring, too....*yawn yawn*....

So....

I guess I'll take a little bit of a nap now....Puuuurrrrr.....

I saw this big Bird yesterday.

He was very colorful and moved very very s-l-o-w-l-y....He almost looked like he was moving in what my Mommy calls 'Slow Motion'...something to do with movies, she says...

Anyway, I watched it and watched it and watched it as it moved along....

Boy it sure was BIG!


Boy, I sure would have loved to catch it!

THINKING

I've been thinking a lot about all the animals out there in the world who need homes....I'm so lucky.....I live in this comfy house with this comfy human and I have so many wonderful comfy places I can go and stretch out.....I have enough food for 6 cats on any given day....(and some dogs, too...purrrrrr)

I don't want my Mommy to adopt anyone else, mind you, but I do think about all those homeless animals who need help....wish I could do something...my Mommy does do a little something when she can, I know...but it's going to take a lot of people doing a little something.....

Oh well....I guess I'll go back to sleep now.....Purrrrrrrrrzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
